especially given the whole, “are they replacing us with AI because there wont’ be enough food for us in the climate broken future?”

having media affirm the idea that what could be the replacements are capable of being killed - which implies they’re alive - seems… like it would make it easier to avoid having any feelings at all about this, if you don’t perceive yourself as one fo the folk being threatened.
