Félix Guattari
Félix Guattari (1930-1992) was a French psychoanalyst, philospher, and political activist. He is best known for collaborating with Gilles Deleuze to author Anti-Oedipus (1972) and A Thousand Plateaus (1980), which form the two volumes of Capitalism and Schizophrenia. These texts challenged traditional psychoanalysis, Marxism, and structuralism, introducing concepts like schizoanalysis, deterritorialization, and assemblage theory.
Félix Guattari trained under Jacques Lacan and worked at La Borde psychiatric clinic.
