GFRTU × Weiqi — single-file incremental laboratory

Fibered Go Laboratory

Idle-play the minimal GFRTU fixed points while tending a 9×9 Go board. Stones are recognitions on traces; stabilizers fight drift, sheaf coherence rewards good shape, and generative closure unlocks richer layers.

Design + Plan

Each Go intersection is a trace; stones are recognitions with stabilizer (σ) and drift (Δ). The GFRTU closures govern how resources grow:

Quick start

1) Select an empty trace 2) Place a recognition stone 3) Infuse σ when Δ threatens 4) Ride closure → cells → defects

Watch liberties: ≥3 liberties feeds sheaf bonuses; 1–2 liberties risks drift capture.

Rule of Play

Click a trace to select it, then place a stone. Stones earn trace energy and recognition based on liberties. Drift drains stability when a stone is cramped. Keep σ ahead of Δ, reach generative closure to unlock cell bonuses.

Braid lab: aligned stones in both a row and a column spin up braid flux (spectral squares in the AOG). Spend that flux with “weave” to bathe all stones in σ and nudge closure.

Tip: A stone with ≥3 liberties benefits from sheaf coherence; tangled shapes bleed faster. Use the onboarding steps above and run the self-checks if numbers look odd.
