Cosmology
Cosmology is the study of the origin, evolution, large-scale structure, and ultimate fate of the universe. It draws on general relativity, thermodynamics, and observational astronomy to construct models of the universe as a whole – not individual stars or planets, but the geometry and composition of everything at the largest scales.
