I've been getting back to writing in Emacs and just got to the point where I can publish my personal website from my files.

It'll take a while for there to be enough information on the site for it to be useful to anyone, but I just wanted to post again about how happy I am to have a computer that can actually run Emacs and do some SQLite stuff without choking.

Working in a digital garden is something I love, am suited to do, and people value from me, so it's just all-in-all exciting, even if I'm currently doing a bunch of sloggy work that readers won't easily see.

Also while I'm getting back to various aspects of online living, I should mention that I admin a small Discord server. It's small enough that in practice, it's just folk who find each other mutually agreeable chatting, but the designed purpose is bringing together folk who want to respond, not react, to climate breakdown and its consequences like ecofascism.
