There's something validating about my ideas about how liberalism is turning everyone into neurotic platformal intellectuals, that whenever I share my philosophical writing somewhere, someone with absolutely no background or prior knowledge of any ideas, will feel comfortable engaging me in a dialog where I must explain every concept in my writing.
An analogy I have is that when I share recordings of my music, people who are not musicians do not suddenly ask me to teach them to play the piece or feel entitled to understand my internal reasoning for why I selected a given key and mode.
But that is roughly the equivalent that happens when I post philosophy: rather than take it as the product of a skilled craft, it's just the material of discourse, and thus as fit for conversation as any other material.
