I’ve been off Facebook for a bit, but just wanted to give a big “thank you” to the people who messaged me over the weekend, “congratulating” me on being correct about my claims that Bernie Sanders’ campaign was supported & influenced by Russian interference, which were entirely proven by the indictments which were released last week.
My adamant stance that his campaign was supported by foreign powers and existed more to sabotage a legitimate election than anything else cost me a lot of friends, both on Facebook and in real-life.
That really sucks: I miss my friends. If you know someone who supported Bernie (or Stein) and developed an excessively negative opinion of me during the course of the election, to the point they’ve unfriended or blocked me, I’d really appreciate if you could reach out to them on my behalf and ask if they’d be willing to consider renewing the friendship.
I hold no grudge against those who supported Sanders; they didn’t know the depth to which his platform was shifted by foreign influence, and that’s easily forgivable. Let’s move past this… and maybe next time an election comes around (later this year) and I’m screaming that a thing seems suspicious, y’all will be more willing to consider the possibilities I present.
(All of the above applies to Trump supporters as well. I care far less about what you believed than what you believe in today.)
