Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI)

Friendly information that, if known by the adversary, would compromise operations; used to guide OPSEC and reporting discipline.
Defines EEFI

Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI) are the friendly information that, if known by the adversary, would compromise operations. EEFI shape operational security (OPSEC) priorities and reporting discipline.

EEFI matter to command because execution management requires communication and reporting. The staff must decide what information flows fast and wide versus what is constrained.
