Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP)
The Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) is a planning paradigm for producing plans and orders. Like other western staff planning paradigms, it exists to translate uncertainty into a decision, an executable concept, and the coordination products that make distributed action coherent [usmc2020mcwp5_10].
MCPP is especially useful to study as a comparative framework because it explicitly integrates design (problem framing and operational approach development) with planning (COA development, wargaming, orders).
