Closure is a structure: the self-maintenance of Relation through Relating.
Given that Self-Coherence is determined by how it structures the persistent relation between Relating and Relation, it cannot not derive a dynamic of structure: Closure. This is the structured configuration that formalizes the self-maintenance of relation through relating, achieving internal consistency.
With Closure, the relational unit is for the first time self-sustaining — Relating sustains Relation, Relation grounds Relating, and the circuit maintains itself without external support.
But Closure leaves unresolved what determines the coherence of this self-sustaining unit. The unit maintains itself, but it has not distinguished itself from what it is not. It has no Boundary. This undetermination forces the next phase: Bounding.
